Veggies That Re-Grow

Vintage Pic

My great -great grandfather was a Lieutenant Colonel in the Pennsylvania National Guard. This is a photo that was found among my grandfather's belongings. It was marked on the back that they were handing out pay.  I think it's a really cool photograph.  Happy Wednesday.

Living It Up

Although these living rooms are miles apart, I love them both. The top one is most like my own home with the old bottles and a neutral backdrop but the bottom photo reminds me of my great grandmother and is nostalgic. Both images are from www.countryliving.com

Twig Lights

I love these twig lights purchased from a store that I love in Columbus http://www.swankyabode.com/  Now that Christmas is over, I can't bear to put them away. I think they can stay until, at least, spring.

Happy New Year everyone!

I would have loved this when I was a child

Photo from Restoration Hardware
The tents that were constructed in my parent's living room were never this cool. Mostly they were made from sheets and blankets and were draped over furniture. This tent from Restoration Hardware is so cool and made from recycled RAF materials. I would have loved it. (Still would).

Vintage Photo's

I love old photographs. These are two from my grandma's school days in the 1930's.

Wine Rack

I recently celebrated my birthday and a dear friend gave me this wine rack. I have never seen one like it. I just need to replace those empty bottles with full ones.
