Halloween Purse

I made this altered purse for Halloween a few years ago. It was a purse that I found in a thrift store and embellished using an old photograph, paper, ribbons, paint and other crafty doo dads that I had in my craft room. I've received a lot of postive feedback on it and it's a one-of-a-kind.

Vintage Aprons

My great-grandma was a seamstress. I was lucky enough to inherit many of the aprons that she made. I wish the pictures were a better quality so you could really see the detail in them. I love the fabrics-so many cool prints.

You can find old patterns online or sometimes in a thrift shop. They would make a great diy project. 

Farmhouse Crafting

This old wooden cutting board was headed for the Goodwill box but after treated to a coat of Jadite Green paint and paired with some old silverplate, it found a home in my kitchen.

Rusty Mailbox Remake

I grabbed an old, rusty mailbox from a "free" box at a yard sale. This is what it became with a litte paint, paper, and scrabble tiles. I use it in my office to hold mail until it's time to go through it.

Anniversary Wishes

Yesterday, I opened the mailbox and inside was this beautiful hand-made card from my sister-in-law, Patti for our anniversary. It was so pretty ...I had to post it.
